Specialist Accounts Payable (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Invoice verification: Review incoming invoices for completeness, accuracy, plausibility and compliance with accounting requirements.
• Digital invoice processing: Capture, code and route invoices electronically as part of our digital invoice workflow.
• Approval process: Post approved incoming invoices and monitor and follow up on the invoice approval process.
• Vendor master data management: Create, maintain and update vendor master data.
• Control activities: Support the review of payment runs and manage and reconcile outstanding items.
• Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with the General Ledger Accounting team to coordinate new accounting matters and resolve accounting‑related questions.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed commercial vocational training (e. g. as a Tax Clerk or a comparable qualification).
• Initial professional experience in accounting, ideally with a focus on Accounts Payable.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central or a comparable ERP system.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• A strong team spirit combined with a structured, reliable and detail‑oriented way of working.
