About us

Your Responsibilities

• You will be a key member of cubemos to manage our product\’s backend architecture and business logic.
• You are part of the product team and empower our customers by shipping new features.
• You will enhance our existing AWS serverless microservice architecture on a daily basis.
• You develop and maintain our serverless architecture in a highly effective manner using CI/CD Bitbucket Pipelines.
• You learn and work together in our interdisciplinary product team consisting of AI, AWS, and Frontend Engineers, and actively share your knowledge.
• You understand customer needs and find solutions that fits input/output ratio, and reduce complexity for you and your team members.

Your Profile

• You have at least 3 years in-depth work experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Profound knowledge in Cloud Platforms, preferably Amazon Webservices (AWS).
• You have a high interest in Serverless microservice architectures.
• Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Cognito, AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM), AWS Cloud Formation, Cloudwatch are your (future) friends.
• You have experience designing, building, and maintaining web services with REST or GraphQL.
• You have profound knowledge of Python, or a similar language.
• Basic knowledge of any further language (e.g Javascript, Go) is beneficial.
• You have experience with RDBMS and SQL (We use Postgres and DynamoDB).
• You enjoy working in agile environments and scrum is your friend.
• You have experience working in Startups and / or are passionate about working in a flexible environment.
• You strive to take ownership.
