SEnior Software Engineer Machine Learning
Build AI Solutions for Hyperspectral Imaging
We aim to enhance our existing software suite with advanced machine learning (AI) capabilities. To achieve this, we plan to integrate, adapt, and train various state-of-the-art deep learning models for machine vision on hyperspectral data.
With your expertise, you will support our existing development team with a strong focus on creating solutions for segmentation, classification, and regression tasks based on deep learning and hyperspectral data. Working on real-world problems that our customers are currently facing will help us showcase the powerful combination of hyperspectral snapshot cameras and deep learning. Your solutions will be integrated into our publicly available framework cuvis.ai and used by customers from research, agriculture, medicine, and industry around the globe.
- Development, adaptation, training, and deployment of state-of-the-art deep neural networks (DNNs) for machine vision to solve complex, real-world customer problems (e.g., segmentation, classification, and regression) on hyperspectral data.
- Supporting the creation of datasets for training.
- Contributing to the further development of our deep learning framework, cuvis.ai.
- Defining and implementing strategies for real-world deployments at customer sites.
- Designing and conducting feasibility studies with deep learning solutions.
- Supporting the communication of the benefits of deep learning and hyperspectral technology by attending conferences and writing scientific publications.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms for applications in machine vision.
- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning models from early stages to production.
- Experience with real-world machine learning projects — from data preprocessing to model evaluation.
- Excellent knowledge of Python and relevant libraries (e.g., PyTorch, OpenCV).
- Willingness to travel internationally (~20%).
- Enthusiasm for our mission and a genuine interest in fundamentally transforming our industry with AI
