Do you enjoy turning workforce data into decisions? As our HR Controller (m/f/d), you will make headcount, FTEs and personnel costs transparent across our three business divisions.
You will be the link between HR, Finance and operational management, and give leadership the insights it needs to plan, invest and steer with confidence.
What you will do
- Build and maintain transparency of headcount, FTEs, vacancies and personnel costs across three business divisions in an international setup (DACH, BNL and Ireland)
- Prepare monthly headcount and personnel cost forecasts and support the annual budgeting process
- Track actual personnel costs, FTEs and headcount against budget and forecast, and flag risks and opportunities early
- Manage and validate HR-related accruals and provisions in the monthly and annual closing
- Develop regular workforce and personnel cost reporting for HR, Finance and business leadership
- Run scenario models and turn them into clear recommendations
- Create a single source of truth for workforce data by bringing together HR, payroll and financial information
- Safeguard data quality and consistency across HR, payroll and financial systems
- Build management dashboards and KPIs for better cost control and people analytics
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of HR controlling processes, reporting and analytics
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics or a related field
- 3 to 7 years of experience in HR Controlling, Financial Controlling, Workforce Planning, FP&A or a similar analytical role
- Experience in a multi-business-unit or divisional environment
- Solid understanding of personnel cost structures and HR processes
- Experience with month-end closing and accrual accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP and HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, Dynamics)
- A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a talent for explaining complex data in plain terms
- Knowledge of various country labor and payroll structures is an advantage
- Fluency in German and English
