DevOps Engineer

I am hiring a DevOps Engineer on behalf of European cloud and digital-transformation consultancy specialising in AWS technologies, cloud migration, DevOps, security, and AI-driven solutions. The company supports organisations throughout the full cloud lifecycle, from strategy and architecture modernisation to managed services and operational optimisation. With expertise in scalable SaaS platforms, data analytics, automation, and sovereign cloud environments, they help businesses improve resilience, efficiency, and innovation while balancing security, compliance, and cost control across complex enterprise infrastructures.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Lead and deliver AWS cloud migration projects, including application, infrastructure, and database migrations into secure AWS environments
• Design and implement secure Landing Zones, cloud architectures, and scalable platform solutions with a strong focus on stability and security
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to automate cloud deployments and operational processes
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS/Fargate, improving scalability, reliability, and performance
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, supporting migration planning, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making throughout delivery projects

Essential:

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS cloud services and cloud migration projects
• Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipeline design
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, EKS, ECS/Fargate, and cloud‑native technologies
• Fluent German and English communication skills with a customer‑oriented and solution‑focused mindset
• C1 German and fluent English
