- YoucoordinatewastedisposalatoursitesinAachen,DormagenandWernberg-Köblitz,fromselectingandcommissioningdisposalcompaniestothewasteverificationdocumentsandaccompanyingdocuments.
- Youoperateourelectronicwasteverificationsystem(eANV)inZEDAL.
- Youtakeontheroleofwasteofficer,conductwaste-relatedsiteinspectionsandtrackderivedmeasuresuntiltheyareimplemented.
- You ensure compliance with waste regulations, including the Commercial Waste Ordinance (GewAbfV) and the Waste Catalogue Ordinance (AVV).
- Youpreparetheauditforcertifiedwastemanagementcompanies(EfB)andsupportit.
- Youpreparenotificationsforcross-borderwasteshipmentswithinandoutsidetheEU.
- Youpreparewastedescriptions,includingtherequiredanalyses.
- You are the central point of contact for waste-related questions, build up our knowledge management in this area, and coordinate with the dangerous goods officer and our external partners.
Your profile
- Youhaveatechnicalorscientificdegree,forexampleinenvironmental,process,rawmaterialsorwastemanagementengineering,oracomparablequalification.
- YouholdthecertifiedexpertiseasawasteofficerundertheWasteOfficerOrdinance(AbfBeauftrV).
- Youhaveatleastthreeyearsofprofessionalexperienceinwastemanagementatanindustrialcompanyoracertifiedwastemanagementcompany(EfB).
- You have a sound knowledge of waste law, in particular the Circular Economy Act (KrWG), the Waste Verification Ordinance (NachwV), the Commercial Waste Ordinance (GewAbfV), the Waste Catalogue Ordinance (AVV), the EfB Ordinance (EfbV) and the EU waste shipment regulations.
- You have hands-on experience with the electronic waste verification system (eANV), ideally ZEDAL, with waste verification and accompanying documents, waste descriptions, and supporting EfB audits.
- Experiencewithnotificationprocedures,dangerousgoodsregulations(ADR),orintherecycling,batteryorchemicalindustriesisanadvantage.
- Youworkinastructuredandindependentwayandcommunicateclearlywithauthorities,wastedisposalcompaniesandoperationalteams.
- YouarewillingtotravelbetweenoursitesinAachen,DormagenandWernberg-Köblitz.
- You are fluent in German and have good English skills.
