What you´ll do:
Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, especially Kubernetes, and are running at large scale in all major cloud provider infrastructures. With a strong focus on reusability across the HANA Database & Analytics portfolio, we are fulfilling our responsibility to provide an enterprise-ready unified data and semantics layer that ultimately enables our customers to build mission-critical, scalable, and reliable applications on top of our services.

As a Senior Developer and Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) you will join an agile team and share with them responsibility for managing and provisioning our service infrastructure. You will help automate landscape deployment on various hyperscalers and improve the availability, scalability, and reliability of our services. Our teams are empowered and self-organizing. You will participate in the design, implementation, and high-quality delivery of the solution. You may have to respond to incidents and their root cause analysis. SAP employs a hybrid working model with up to two days mobile working per week.

What you bring:

• Very good degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics or related areas
• Strong experience and interest in Kubernetes and surrounding deployment technologies (such as Helm and Kustomize)
• Experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or Golang
• Strong interest and experience with cloud-native software development and operation
• Very good language skills in English
• 6+ years´ experience

We are looking for a team player with extraordinary soft skills. Experience in managing the lifecycle of large-scale applications on Kubernetes would be a plus.
