Planning Lead – Algorithm Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of software supporting the company’s ADAS technology, focusing on behavior planning and motion planning modules
- Manage the daily tasks of the development team in utilizing modern planning algorithms
- Translate automotive industry requirements into practical algorithmic solutions
- Follow agile development methodologies and the V-Model for developing motion planning modules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially the integration and vehicle control teams, to integrate motion planning algorithms into ADAS systems
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred
- 7 to 10 years of proven experience in the automotive industry, specifically in ADAS or autonomous driving, as a technical or team leader
- Strong understanding of commonly implemented motion planning algorithms in the automotive industry
- Ability to deliver complex software features from design to implementation and testing on automotive-grade hardware
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and control systems
- Proficient in C, C++, Python, and MATLAB
- Experience with agile development methodologies and the V-Model
- Understanding of AUTOSAR and Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards
- Strong managerial and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
- Fluent in English
