Responsibilities
- Support the creation of intuitive, user-centered experiences for current and next generation company smart cockpit solutions
- Lead market specific adaptations of HMI/UX to ensure local customer expectations in markets are met
- Create user stories, personas, and storyboards, conduct user research and usability testing
- Determine information architecture and create sitemaps
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and (HMI/UX) specifications, e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Drive the creation and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across different applications and screens
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (product owners/managers, developers, program management, design studios) to translate technical and business requirements into best-in-class user experiences
- Communicate the UX design intent to project stakeholders, driving cross-organizational and cross-functional consensus
- Perform benchmark activities, consider automotive HMI trends and state-of-the-art HMI technology
- Invent and develop new interaction concepts for future vehicles
- Support management presentations and report
- Ensure compliance with market specific requirements and regulations (e.g. Europe, North America)
Qualifications
- Degree in UXUI Design, Visual Design, Product Design, Multimedia Design, Motion Design, Game Design, or related field
- 5+ years of working experience in automotive UX design
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, user-centered design principles, and accessibility best practices
- Experience regarding creating prototypes is big plus, e.g. Figma, Unity
- Willingness to travel occasionally to visit suppliers/partners, other company facilities or support test drive activities
- Valid driver's license
