• For PhD Student: M.Sc. or equivalent in chemistry, physics, or theoretical/computational materials science.
• For Postdoc: PhD in chemistry, physics, or theoretical/computational materials science .
• Profound knowledge in computational and theoretical physics/chemistry.
• Skills in scripting and programming (C++, Python).
• Experience or interest in machine learning, high-performance computing, solid-state physics/chemistry, materials thermodynamics, 2D compounds, and density-functional theory (VASP, Quantum Espresso) are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills, especially in interdisciplinary collaborations.

Job Description:
The positions involve developing density-functional based and data-driven methods for designing novel ionic high-entropy and two-dimensional compounds. Responsibilities include employing ab initio and machine learning techniques for thermodynamic and electronic analysis, collaborating with local and international partners, and contributing to the Autonomous Materials Thermodynamics research group.
