William Cardoso is looking for two male queer identifying Berlin based performers/dancers for my upcoming project called ANGRIFF.

Two bodies show their affection in a quadri-frontal space. In Angriff, vibrant energy flows through the walls. Sweat drips from the skin. Bodies intertwine and write a story. In this universe, there’s no room for the mind. In this work, William creates an intimate scene of love between two beings. A scene that cries out the word love. We’ll dance it, shout it, sing it, articulate it, suspend it…

In this work, William develops a parallel idea with an all-male queer cast about masculine identity. What does it mean to be a man today? In Western society, codes have changed, but not necessarily mentalities.

Requirements:
The performer needs to have a strong contemporary technique and physical condition. Strength, sense of interpretation and expression, group spirit and adaptability are essential. A sense of research and improvisation, along with curiosity, playfulness, and adventurousness is required. Candidates should not be afraid to sweat and to go beyond their physical limits. The research process is designed to push out of our comfort zone in order to find new ways in body and in space. Theatrical and abstract exploration is encouraged. Kindness, respect, and a safe work ethic are required. Comfort with nudity is necessary.
