Overview
As Commissioning Manager for a major data centre project, you will lead on-site commissioning from planning to handover. You manage the full commissioning lifecycle, supervise engineering teams and contractors, and ensure quality, safety, and compliance. You’ll coordinate IST activities, client demonstrations, and project close-out, while tracking milestones and risks. This role centers on delivering reliable, compliant data centre commissioning within a multinational engineering context, offering impactful collaboration with clients and vendors.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage full commissioning lifecycle for large-scale data centre projects
- Lead commissioning teams, engineers, and specialist contractors
- Develop and maintain commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation
- Coordinate Integrated Systems Testing (IST) activities and client demos
- Oversee M&E systems testing, quality checks, and project close-out
- Chair commissioning meetings with clients, contractors, and vendors
- Track progress, risks, milestones, and programme delivery
- Support safe delivery through quality and compliance management
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on large-scale industrial, mission-critical, or data centre projects
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical commissioning
- Experience delivering Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- Experience managing commissioning documentation and digital completion platforms
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of European standards, regulations, and construction practices
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Engineering qualification preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- Ability to travel freely across the EU
