Overview
In this role you design, optimize and certify photovoltaic installations from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring performance, compliance and cost-efficiency. You work with civil, electrical, grid, purchasing and construction teams to deliver integrated solar projects. You’ll analyze site conditions, electrical design, and regulatory requirements to maximize energy yield. This position offers impact in scaling renewable energy solutions and shaping project execution in a cross-functional environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems including layouts, wiring diagrams and technical specs
- Perform electrical sizing calculations and energy production simulations (e.g., PVsyst)
- Conduct site inspections and technical feasibility studies; assess shading and project risks
- Prepare technical documentation for authorization, procurement and construction
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project integration
- Support external stakeholders as needed
- Ensure compliance with national/international standards and grid connection requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and design optimization
- Provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning
- Verify installation quality and as-built documentation
- Collaborate to resolve technical issues during project execution
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy or related discipline
- Experience in the design and engineering of photovoltaic systems
- Proficiency in PV design and simulation software (PVsyst, AutoCAD, PVcase or equivalent)
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, network integration, and assembly structures
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and authorization processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
