The Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP / ERP Deployment Project Manager to support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation and deployment programme across multiple industrial sites in Germany.
You will lead deployment activities, coordinate business process alignment and support local teams throughout the transformation, working closely with Business, IT and technical stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of project management experience within SAP / ERP implementations, deployments or transformation programmes.
- 5+ years of experience managing SAP / ERP rollouts or multi-site deployments.
- 3+ years of experience within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ideally across Manufacturing, Production or Quality.
- Proven experience managing projects across 2+ sites or international locations.
- Strong project governance experience, including planning, budgets, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience leading gap analysis, business process harmonisation and alignment with an existing SAP template / core model.
- Demonstrable change management experience, supporting business teams through ERP transformation.
- Strong understanding of German business culture and working practices.
- Fluent English essential; German language skills highly advantageous.
Contract Details
- Start: December 2026 / January 2027
- Duration: 12-24 months
- Workload: Potentially part‑time during scoping, moving to full‑time during deployment.
- Working Model: 3 days per week on‑site in Erlangen, with occasional travel to other sites in Germany.
- Daily Rate: Depending on experience; senior candidates commanding higher rates will be considered.
