Overview
In this role you lead electrical safety and SAP activities for a major data centre project in Frankfurt. You will oversee MV/LV electrical systems, energisation programs, and permit-to-work processes, ensuring compliance and safe operations. You collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to drive safe switching, testing, and handover. This role offers impact at scale in a mission-critical environment, shaping safety practices and project delivery.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as lead SAP for MV and LV systems
- Oversee Electrical Safety Rules implementation
- Supervise Authorised Persons on site
- Review switching schedules, isolations, energisation plans
- Control permits-to-work and LOTO processes
- Lead commissioning, energisation, and handover activities
- Ensure Arc Flash compliance and electrical safety standards
- Conduct toolbox talks and provide technical guidance
- Investigate electrical incidents and restrictions
- Liaise with project management, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and client representatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Proven SAP experience on MV electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety rules, permits, and switching operations
- Experience energisation and commissioning on large-scale projects
- Background in data centres, power generation, utilities, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of MV switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and protection schemes
