We are a dynamic IT services firm that is constantly growing and evolving. As part of our expansion, we are currently seeking a talented and driven Functional Business Analyst (m/f/d) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in bridging the gap between our clients’ executive and IT departments.
In this role, you will be responsible for serving as the liaison between the executive and IT departments of our clients. This will involve leveraging the data the IT team extrapolates while also overseeing the selection and implementation of software programs and hardware resources. You will be a crucial link in ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between these two important departments.
We are looking for a professional with experience in both information technology and business administration. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and highly innovative, with a strong understanding of current IT programs, projects, and initiatives. Your ability to translate business needs into effective IT solutions, and vice versa, will be essential in driving our clients’ success.
Responsibilities
Partner with application directors and creators to ensure each project meets a specific need and resolves successfully
Consult with the executive team and the IT departm ent on the newest technology and its implications in the industry
Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processes
Gather intelligence from corporate executives and middle managers about needs and future growth
Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
Compile and distribute reports on application development and deployment
Design and execute A/B testing procedures to extract data from test runs
Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behavior
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project Management or related field
5+ years’ experience in a supervisory position related to information technology
7+ years’ experience in technology development and deployment
Fluency in German is a must, fluency in English is preferred
Team player with good communication and analytical skills
Configuration experience in the relevant SAP modules
