We’re working with a major insurance player looking to hire two experienced Non-Life Actuaries (P&C) to join their central actuarial team. If you’re someone who loves diving into numbers and having a voice at the table—this is the kind of role where you’re not just crunching data, but helping shape decisions at the top level.
You’ll be joining a flat-structured, international team with real autonomy, smart colleagues, and some exciting projects blending actuarial thinking with GenAI, Python dashboards, and more. Sound like your kind of gig? Read on.
Your Role
- Run and review reserving analyses across global business units—and help steer decisions with your insights
- Don’t just prepare data—own your numbers, form an opinion, and stand by it
- Help simplify and automate reserving and reporting using modern tools like Python and Power BI
- Be part of shaping the governance and best practices for the actuarial function
- Work closely with senior leadership (Chief Actuary, CRO, CFO) and contribute to big-picture strategy
- Want to get involved with AI and machine learning projects? There’s plenty of space for that too
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in actuarial P&C work, especially reserving
- Progress with actuarial exams (DAV, IFoA, or similar)—you don’t need to be fully qualified
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for digging into data
- You’ve worked with Python or similar tools—or at least, you’re up for learning
- You’re comfortable talking to senior stakeholders and standing behind your recommendations
- German’s a plus, but not a must
What’s in It for You
- A visible, high-impact role with plenty of freedom to shape your work
- Modern, international team culture with flat hierarchies
- Great salary—up to €120k
- Flexible working setup
- Cool innovation projects in GenAI, data science, and actuarial tech
- Loads of development and learning opportunities
