As Databricks continues its expansion across Central Europe, we’re looking for a driven, creative, and execution-focused Named Account Executive to help us capture the significant opportunity ahead in Germany’s Manufacturing and Automotive sectors. Reporting to our Director of Enterprise Sales, you’ll own and grow a portfolio of leading enterprise accounts — building strong relationships, driving strategic transformation, and closing high-impact deals. - Deliver meaningful impact through proactive engagement, thought leadership, and strategic insight.
- Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders at every level, positioning yourself as a valued advisor to C‑Suite executives, to drive and close business.
- You will drive adoption and expansion by aligning Databricks solutions to evolving customer needs.
- You will collaborate across teams to deliver seamless, high‑impact experiences that help customers unlock the full potential of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
What we look for
- Proven success in selling complex cloud or big data solutions, consistently exceeding quotas and KPIs
- You have at least 5–7 years of experience growing enterprise accounts — ideally within the Manufacturing or Automotive sectors in Germany.
- Strong background in open‑source technologies and guiding build‑vs‑buy decisions across multiple stakeholders, including C‑level executives.
- Deep understanding of industry trends, customer pain points, and Data & AI value drivers.
- Skilled in structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPIC, Value Selling, Account Planning) with a track record of accurate forecasting and closing complex deals.
- Experienced in building champions, collaborating across teams, and driving partner‑led success.
- Fluent in English and German, with a willingness to travel regularly to engage with customers in person.
