Sr. Solutions Architect – Greenfield (New Logo) – France (Paris region, hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Form successful relationships with strategic enterprise clients within the Greenfield territory, providing technical and business value to Databricks customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Operate as an expert in big data analytics, exciting customers about Databricks and serving as a champion and trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation.
- Scale best practices and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how‑to guides and demo applications.
- Lead workshops, seminars and meet‑ups to build the Databricks community in the region.
- Grow knowledge and expertise to become a technical/industry specialist.
Qualifications
- Experience engaging customers in technical sales, challenging questions, guiding outcomes, and communicating technical and value propositions.
- Experience managing strategic enterprise accounts.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language (Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn Spark.
- Proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands‑on expertise with complex proofs‑of‑concept and public cloud platforms.
- Experience in use‑case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to varied audiences.
Mandatory Requirements
- Location must be the Paris region (commutable for hybrid schedule).
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, events and trainings.
- Business proficiency in both French and English.
