Technical Project Managers accomplish the mission of the Professional Services team: accelerate and de‑risk our customers’ outcomes through improved project success while maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will balance delivery responsibilities with the commercial goals of the organization and report to the Director of Professional Services.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of all commercial delivery of services from project administration and director perspectives across numerous concurrent projects in ASEAN and Greater China, ranging from single‑person engagements of 2‑3 weeks to 6‑month multi‑person teams.
- Define, manage, scope and mitigate risk across projects, enforcing project reporting and milestone tracking and managing financials to accelerate customer success.
- Work with account management and customer teams to complete handover from sales to delivery teams.
- Ensure accurate reporting on projects and keep all relevant parties up to date with project activity and outcomes.
- Report to the Director, Professional Services.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience successfully managing and overseeing big‑data projects with teams of up to five people and contract values exceeding $0.5million.
- Experience managing enterprise‑scale projects, with global deployments ideally within the big‑data and analytics industry domain.
- Experience with industry project‑management techniques, including Agile delivery, and certification such as PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to mentor team members to achieve success.
- Initiative, determination, and a high degree of resourcefulness.
- Strong commercial focus and experience managing both T&M and Fixed‑Price engagements.
Travel
Travel expected across the region.
