What you can expect in your new job
- You'll work on a variety of client projects and be responsible for implementing modern data engineering architectures, with a focus on Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
- You will support customers from requirements analysis through architectural decisions all the way to implementation and a successful transition to production. In the process, you will build and further develop in-depth expertise in Microsoft Fabric & Databricks and related cloud and AI technologies.
- You will design and implement sophisticated data platforms based on Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
- You'll design solutions across the entire data value chain: from the cloud platform through integration and transformation processes to analytics and AI applications.
- You'll work closely with clients in workshops, architecture sessions, and strategic roadmap sessions, and guide them confidently through phases of transformation.
- You implement projects using modern data and AI technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Services, and the latest ML frameworks.
- You'll gain exposure to a variety of industries and company sizes in the DACH region, thereby developing a broad and valuable range of experience.
What we want from you
- You are enthusiastic about modern data engineering architectures and current developments in data and AI.
- You have basic or advanced experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse) and are looking to further your skills in Fabric.
- You come across as confident and customer-focused—both in workshops and in technical projects.
- You are proficient in Python; experience with other programming languages is a plus.
- Ideally, you have experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- You impress with your strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and willingness to travel.
- You speak German and English at a minimum C1 level.
