Overview
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of AI-powered experiences within Datadog Notebooks, blending deterministic product capabilities with LLM-driven flows to deliver trustworthy outcomes. You’ll partner with product and design to translate customer problems into technical decisions and drive cross-functional collaboration. You’ll own production systems that support critical customer deployments and act as a technical leader shaping AI engineering practices. This is a chance to transform Notebooks into a collaborative, AI-enabled tool that scales knowledge across Datadog products.

- Build experiences enabling Datadog capabilities to operate within third-party AI platforms and conversational environments
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship while establishing AI engineering best practices
- Own production systems and be on-call for critical backend services

- 6+ years of engineering experience
- Experience with Go or Python or similar systems programming languages
