We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Director of Sales to help us transform DataGuard into a category-defining champion in the Risk and Compliance software space. In this pivotal role, you will own and drive our new business and expansion sales strategy while leading a talented international team of ambitious sellers, empowering them to uncover new opportunities and accelerate DataGuard’s growth journey. What you’ll be doing:
- You own, develop, and execute the sales strategy for specific segments focused on new business and expansion while aligning closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and overall company goals.
- You lead and manage an international sales team, overseeing performance across multiple countries and offices to achieve growth targets.
- You take a proactive approach to developing and empowering talent as a hands-on sales leader, coaching high-performing sales teams to achieve and exceed their targets.
- You engage directly with customers and prospects to uncover strategies for expanding into new geographies, contributing to geo-expansion and business growth.
- You closely align with key stakeholders, including Professional Services, DemandGen, and Customer Success, while monitoring market trends and customer feedback across regions to refine customer acquisition strategies and support product development.
- You leverage your SaaS sales expertise to optimize sales operations globally and implement the processes needed for a high-performing commercial team.

What you’ll need to strive in your new position:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B Sales leadership, with exposure to both SME, Mid-Market, and Corporate markets, within SaaS.
- A track record of building and developing world-class sales teams within a B2B SaaS model.
- Experience in driving and steering sales functions across various regions, ensuring alignment and synchronization with the broader GTM motion.
- A data-driven approach, earned from experience in setting quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
- Excellent oral and written English, German is a plus.
- A deep appreciation for security and compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Performance-oriented track record.
- Academic degree is a plus.
