Your mission
Our demand generation engine is still in its infancy, but we've already taken digital and inbound from 18% of pipeline to closer to 40%. Our stretch goal is 70% — a target the wider team is working toward together, with you driving the day-to-day programs that get us there.
The foundations are there: channels are live, the first account-based programs are running and the BDR rhythm is set. What's next is building out the funnel around it. Awareness programs that make us known before anyone is in market. Capture programs that turn that attention into demand. And the content that enables both. You'll have real input into how we get there, working closely with our VP of Marketing, and with day-to-day support from a specialist demand marketing agency that's worked alongside us for over a year, helping us test, learn, and create campaign programs and assets.
In this role, you will:
- Drive pipeline generation across paid search, paid social, and third-party advertising, against a clear monthly target and segment focus
- Run the awareness, capture, and content programs that help grow digital and inbound's share of pipeline, working from an agreed strategy
- Run multiple campaigns in parallel from concept to brief to launch to reporting, on MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline conversion, on a six to twelve week horizon
- Support account-based motions for priority verticals, working closely with sales on named-account coverage
- Partner daily with our BDR team on meetings booked, follow-up, and what's converting
- Take a campaign from idea to production, with copy and creative that hold up on LinkedIn, on our website and in every awareness channel we run
- Manage lifecycle email and nurture in HubSpot, connecting awareness and capture programs to sales-ready pipeline
- Act as the internal day-to-day point of contact for our demand marketing agency partner - briefing, reviewing, and coordinating campaign assets and programs together (the agency relationship itself sits with the VP of Marketing)
- Report to our VP, Marketing, and sit within the wider marketing team with close day-to-day ties across the Revenue organization, including BDRs, Account Executives, Customer Success, and RevOps.
Your profile
What we need you to bring:
- 3+ years running demand generation programs in B2B SaaS.
- A track record you can walk us through: programs you ran that produced quality pipeline, meetings that became opportunities, and business that closed
- A working understanding of paid search and paid social. You don't have to be the person pressing every button in LinkedIn or Google, but you know what a healthy channel looks like, and importantly, what to do with an unhealthy one.
- An eye for good copy, matched to the channel and the stage of the buyer's journey. You know how to use AI to take care of a lot of the heavy lifting, but you set the standard for what's good
- Day-to-day fluency in HubSpot and Salesforce
- A self-starter who can manage a budget carefully and make it count
Nice to have:
- Experience with longer, multi-stakeholder buying cycles
- Account-based programs run alongside sales and BDRs
- Understanding of new outbound tooling such as Clay
- An interest in governance, sustainability, regulatory or compliance topics.
Why us?
- The mission. Datamaran has been in governance tech since 2014, before it was a category. That pioneering energy carries through every conversation, internally and with clients.
- The room. This is not a maintenance job. We have taken the first steps and we know where we want to end up. There's real room to shape how we get there, and to grow with the role as we do.
- The pace. Twelve years old with scale-up energy. Following our successful Series C funding round in late 2024, we are entering an active growth phase across all departments and locations.
- The team you join. The VP of Marketing is the hiring manager. You sit with the wider marketing team at our Leeuwarden hub and work daily with the BDR team in London, and have a specialist demand marketing agency alongside you for execution support.
- The reward. Base €53,000 to €66,000, plus 5% pension contribution via Bright, €100/month health insurance contribution, €75/month fitness allowance, 25 days PTO with our yearly closure between Christmas and New Year, and fully reimbursed commuting.
- The flexibility. One day per week in-office at our Leeuwarden hub and the freedom to work at home the rest of the time.
About us
Datamaran is the AI-powered governance platform for enterprise.
Regulations change. Stakeholders shift. Markets move. Large organizations are expected to hold a clear, defensible position on all of it, and most still get there through slow manual processes based on fragmented data.
We turn regulatory, stakeholder, and market signals into intelligence that leadership teams can act on, built on 12+ years of expertise in non-financial risk. Legal, risk, compliance, sustainability, and corporate affairs teams at global enterprises use Datamaran to determine what matters, the evidence necessary to stand behind their decisions.
We are around 100 people across the UK, US, Spain and the Netherlands.
Know what's coming. Act on it.
