As our new (Senior) Advertising Strategy Manager, you will become an integral part of the ad sales department of DAZN DACH and engage with our clients to bring them creative, solution-oriented ideas and products to meet their business challenges as well as goals and objectives.
You will be using your innovation, communication & project management skills effectively to maximize sales revenues & establish DAZN Media as leading sports sales house from a B2B perspective – but most of all you will be passionate about sports and delivering the very best service to all stakeholders while collaborating with numerous internal functions across the entire DAZN business.
This role is based in Munich.

As our new Advertising Strategy Manager m/f/d, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Take responsibility for the strategic output of the DACH ad sales team including creation of sales materials & brand activation concepts in presentation
- Work closely with direct & agency sales team to deliver ad sales revenue targets leveraging the broad DAZN ecosystem incl. OTT, social & FAST
- Drive recognition & awareness of DAZN Media in the sports industry by creating a holistic B2B marketing strategy (conventions, road shows, etc.)
- Highlight areas of growth and opportunity by designing physical & customized brand activations (e.g. on-site events)
- Manage the strategic & creative process between multiple stakeholders following briefings, ensuring projects are delivered time-efficiently and against brand objectives
- Develop media-based responses to brand or agency briefs demonstrating relevant market insights & a creative mindset including presentation towards clients in alignment with direct & agency sales team
- Engage with all relevant DAZN functions including content, commercial rights, marketing and PR to maximize opportunities for DAZN Media
You\’ll have:
- Multiple years of experience working in sports media within a creative agency, media owner or social platform
- Extensive understanding of the sports rights landscape including rights IP usage & sponsorship restrictions
- Strategic leadership within the sports, media, social and content verticals
- Confidently present multi-platform project executions to budget holders & decision makers
- Proficient in the creative process, managing specialists to ideate & produce compelling brand concepts digitally & physically (e.g. events)
- Holistic knowledge of marketing opportunities on a B2B level
- Broad understanding of content formats & platforms and influencer network
- Exceptional PowerPoint and communication skills
- Experience of working with multiple internal teams to deliver premium output
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in German and English
