Your Role

• Review scientific and patent literature in the fields of computing, photonic integrated circuits and free space optics
• Screening of commercially available solutions
• Prepare, execute, and evaluate interviews with internal experts
• Evaluate the achievable specifications in using analytical methods and simulations
• Summarize and communicate your findings
  Your Profile
• You are enrolled in a Master’s program in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable with excellent results
• Knowledge in the field of integrated photonics or computing technology is a plus
• Excellent organization, problem-solving, communication (English and/or German) and innovation skills
• Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
