We are currently looking for a Windows Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Security team in Lugano.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Windows Server infrastructures (2016/2019/2022) and related core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online environments.Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and updates.Automate tasks and repetitive activities using PowerShell scripting.Apply system patches, updates, and implement security policies.Manage user access, permissions, and group policies across hybrid environments.Collaborate with other IT teams to design, deploy and document new solutions or upgrades.Support virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V) and monitor infrastructure performance.Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.Requirements3–5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Windows Administrator.Practical knowledge of PowerShell scripting.Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).Familiarity with monitoring, patch management, and security tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM, Intune).Good understanding of network principles and security best practices.Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop will be considered a preferred qualification.Good communication skills in English (Italian knowledge is a plus).What We OfferA dynamic, professional, and collaborative work environment.Challenging projects with leading clients in the Swiss and international markets.Continuous learning opportunities and exposure to new technologies.Competitive compensation package and flexible work conditions.Required languages: English and italian B2Salary:We offer an interesting salary with a permanent Swiss contractWork location:Lugano, partially in SmartWorking from SwitzerlandPre-requisites:you must be in possession of a work permit valid for Swiss territory or have the nationality of a European nation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
