The Role:

DC Advisory's Munich office is seeking an off-cycle graduate analyst to join their growing Technology team next year. We will be accepting applications for the following cohorts:

  • July 2027 to September 2027
  • October 2027 to December 2027

As part of the team, you can expect to work closely with the deal team on engagements involving mergers and acquisitions as well as other strategic advisory projects. The role includes conducting industry and company research, market screening for potential targets and investors, assisting with pitch book preparation, and support in the preparation of marketing materials. Key areas will include:

  • Support throughout all phases of M&A transactions and pitch processes
  • Research
  • Preparation of marketing materials (teaser, information memorandums, etc.) and other documentation
  • Attendance to meetings

Requirements:

We are looking for highly motivated future graduates in the last year of their degree or recent graduates, with a strong interest in M&A and corporate finance. We are also looking for candidates with an excellent academic track record, a very good command of German and English language, and an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset. Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills will be essential. Must haves include:

  • Excellent academic track record
  • Strong proficiency in German and English
  • Prior internship experience in corporate finance, preferably with exposure to the technology sector
  • Advanced and comprehensive accounting and financial knowledge (business valuation methods, cash flows, etc.)
  • Strong work ethic and high level of commitment for the duration of the contract
  • On-the-job training and mentoring in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on exposure to all parts of a transaction as an integrated deal team member
