Position Overview

Join our global team of experts at Diconium, a digital business transformation leader. As a team member, you will work on projects that generate value from software, data, and AI by delivering strategies and solutions that challenge conventional industry practices and drive technological progress. The primary location of this position is Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an international, interdisciplinary team in the area of Data Engineering & Data Architecture.
  • Advise clients at the management level on design, implementation, and further development of modern data platforms focusing on cloud‑native architectures and scalable solutions.
  • Manage projects and accounts, steer complex data initiatives, and ensure maximum client satisfaction through excellent delivery.
  • Continuously evolve our service portfolio, identify new data‑driven business opportunities, and support market expansion with Sales and Product Management.
  • Represent Diconium externally at conferences, through expert articles, and in customer committees, positioning yourself as a thought leader in the data community.
  • Foster an open, performance‑oriented team culture built on ownership, trust, and growth, and actively shape the development and expansion of our data team.

Qualifications

  • Profound experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and modern cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake) in complex enterprise environments.
  • Several years in consulting‑intensive roles, either in a consulting firm or in corporate settings with high stakeholder complexity.
  • Leadership experience, whether disciplinary or functional.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical topics to diverse audiences, from business units to senior leadership.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, solution orientation, and a drive to take responsibility and move initiatives forward.
  • Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level in both) and comfortable working in international project environments.
