We are looking for a rigorous and operational accountant to support the Head of Finance and Human Resources in the company’s daily accounting and financial operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and record accounting entries
- Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- Supervise subsidiary accounting
- Actively participate in annual audits (including inventory and financial audits)
- Respond to information requests as part of monthly reporting
- Contribute to VAT returns as well as other statutory declarations
- Participate in certain HR administrative processes (as needed)
Profile and Qualifications
- Training in accounting, finance (e.g. federal diploma, or equivalent training considered)
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience desired (experience in watchmaking manufacture is an asset)
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- High sense of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team in a demanding environment
- Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) is a significant asset)
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook required
Language Requirements
- French required (professional proficiency preferred); English minimum B2 level
Work Organisation
- On-site presence is expected given the nature of the role. Some flexibility may be considered for a hybrid arrangement, depending on experience, responsibilities, and company needs
