Community Engagement Manager (w / m / d)

• Representation of DE-CIX at major technical congresses such as RIPE, Euro-IX, and regional NOGs through presentations and professional networking to expand our presence in the industry and to enhance our visibility within the Peering and Interconnection community.
• Further extension of DE-CIX\’s reputation through strategic relationship building and fostering the thought leadership role of DE-CIX in the field of interconnection & peering.
• Serve as a public advocate for DE-CIX\’s values and technological advancement and forge new partnerships with tech companies, educational institutions, and industry groups to promote shared goals and industry best practices related to internet connectivity and network infrastructure.

This is important to us

• At least five years of experience in the interconnection industry, excellent networking skills, and a solid technical understanding, ideally with an academic background.
• Proven experience in community engagement in the technology sector, strong public speaking skills, and the ability to present complex information effectively to diverse audiences in at least two languages (English, German / Spanish).
• Willingness to travel, the talent to lead different stakeholders to joint success, and experience in managing projects, teams, and also yourself.
