Team Lead Consultant – DACH Region

In this strategic role, you will lead complex healthcare software implementations, advise hospitals on optimizing clinical and administrative processes, and drive the successful implementation of innovative Hospital Information Systems (HIS).

As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and a mentor to your team, you will play a key role in delivering sustainable value for our clients while contributing to the growth of our consulting practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead innovative, software‑based patient journeys across the DACH region with a focus on implementing state‑of‑the‑art HIS.
  • Take ownership of complex project workstreams, ensuring delivery in scope, quality, timelines, and budget.
  • Analyze, optimize, and redesign clinical and administrative hospital processes in close collaboration with clients.
  • Translate hospital requirements into efficient process and system solutions using our company’s software platform.
  • Lead system implementation, testing, and migration projects, including both Big Bang and phased rollout approaches.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with mid‑ and senior‑level stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and mentor consultants, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
  • Support business development by contributing to proposals, customer presentations, and workshops.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and digital transformation, delivering sustainable value for our customers.
  • Travel throughout the DACH region as required.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field (e. g., Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Health Informatics) or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 7–10 years of professional experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare IT, or digital transformation projects within hospital environments.
  • Proven experience leading complex healthcare IT or digital transformation projects, ideally involving Hospital Information Systems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams, coaching consultants, and managing customer relationships at the management level.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to structure complex challenges and develop pragmatic, client‑focused solutions.
  • Sound business acumen, including financial management, controlling, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with confidence to engage senior decision‑makers.
  • Collaborative leadership style, passion for mentoring others, and the ability to inspire high‑performing teams.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
