About Decade Energy
Founded in 2024, Decade Energy powers the electrification of road transport by developing, finance, and operate the infrastructure - grid upgrades, battery energy storage (BESS), EV charging, and optimization software - that enables fleets to electrify.

Who We Serve
We support transport operators and real estate owners, two groups navigating the challenges of grid capacity, financing, and rising energy costs.
What We Deliver

The Role
- Our customers bring portfolios, not single sites. Hundreds of logistics properties, every one of them posing the same question: what energy assets are needed here, what pays off, what does it cost, what does it return.
- You answer that question a hundred times over. You simulate, you calculate, and you build the tools that make it run in series. Your assessment decides which sites we touch at all.
- You work closely with the product and software team in France and translate what the German market needs.
What you'll do
- Assess the sites. Load profile, existing connection, grid situation, space, charging demand, roof area
- Simulate. PV yield, storage dispatch, peak shaving, market side. The sizing comes out of the result
- Price the offers. Concept, business case and offer per site
- Check permitting feasibility. In screening, as a knockout criterion next to the grid
- Support customers technically until the grid connection is secured
- Build the tools. Screening and scoring models, calculation templates, automation for application, documentation and reporting
- Hand over cleanly. To the Grid Engineer for the application, to the Technical Project Manager for delivery
- You understand our methodology for designing logistics energy hubs
- The first sites are calculated through, offers included
- Your screening model runs and assesses several sites in one pass
- At least one recurring step is automated instead of done by hand every time
What makes you successful here
- Two to five years of practice. Energy engineering, energy markets, project development or technical sales. You want to own an entire portfolio now
- You automate. Scripts, APIs or low-code. You do not wait for IT
- You calculate yourself. Feasibility, grid situation, economics, without waiting for someone to supply it
- You defend your numbers, including when a managing director sits on the other side of the table
- Fluent German and English at working proficiency
