Responsibilities
- Design, configuration, and operation of Cloud&Heat’s network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, servers)
- Ensuring data center operation and updating the solutions and products used
- Support and further development of the server/network infrastructure, including security architecture and data backup
- Collaboration in optimizing the system environment in the hardware and software environment
- Collaboration in IT projects
- Customer service/consulting for customer inquiries
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support
Qualifications
- Training and/or degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems (especially Linux-based systems)
- Comprehensive knowledge of network technology (routing, firewall, VLAN, VPN)
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Bash, and automation tools such as Ansible
- Understanding of complex system structures
- Communication and teamwork skills, reliability, and commitment
- Knowledge in the field of SDN and current NOS is advantageous
