Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) Angular/Java – Vienna (Hybrid) Join our team at Dedalus, a leading healthcare technology company, and help make healthcare safer, better and more reliable.
Responsibilities
Building top‑tier enterprise web applications for the healthcare industry.
Ensuring high code quality by conducting thorough code reviews and promoting a clean‑code mindset.
Full‑stack development with focus on backend, frontend or both.
Writing automated tests and maintaining continuous integration.
Participating in the agile software development process and collaborating with UX designers, software architects and quality engineers.
Requirements
Solid software engineering knowledge with at least five years of experience in Java, Angular, TypeScript and related technologies.
A degree in computer science or a comparable professional experience in software engineering.
Quality awareness and curiosity for new methodologies and engineering patterns.
Interest in the medical field and the day‑to‑day work of hospital staff.
Comfortable communicating in English; optional German.
Technology and Tools Angular, TypeScript, Java (Quarkus), JUnit, Jest/Karma, Playwright/Cypress, HTML, CSS, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Amazon Web Services (AWS), GitHub Actions.

Salary The minimum salary for this position is €56,000 gross per year (38.5 working hours per week) according to the IT‑collective agreement. An overpayment plus bonus arrangement depends on qualification/experience.
