Overview
In this role you will oversee global payroll implementations and data migrations for Deel’s clients, guiding the end-to-end setup from onboarding to go-live. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and clients to align payroll processes, data requirements, and system configurations. The position offers visibility with senior leadership and a direct impact on customers’ ability to scale compliantly. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Set up project kickoff with onboarding team and clients; create and manage project plans for rollout
- Lead client and project management activities; coordinate scope changes and delivery timelines
- Define payroll processes and data requirements; manage client payroll calendars
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans and status reports
- Configure interfaces, reports, and systems for parallel and live payroll in month 1–2
- Execute go-live sign-off and document client-specific needs; generate and analyze payroll reports
- Serve as primary client contact for payroll project matters; report status to senior leadership
- Oversee end-to-end implementation of global payroll systems; ensure on-time/on-budget delivery
- Gather client requirements across HR/Finance; guide technical onboarding of payroll
- Ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws; manage data migration from legacy systems
- Develop and execute testing plans; implement change management strategies
- Conduct regular project reviews and escalate risks, actions, issues, dependencies
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years in global payroll implementation and operations
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across designated location
- Experience with payroll systems and software
- Client-facing project management experience; ability to manage multiple projects
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s preferred
