Your Responsibilities

As an Environmental Engineer for John Deere Turf Care located in Fuquay, NC, you will:

  • Provide technical and process support to maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Be responsible for the environmental compliance programs for the facility (Air, Water, Waste, Chemical Reporting, and others).
  • Collect, analyze, and report environmental data related to compliance and sustainability for the facility.
  • Be responsible for the facility ISO 14001:2015 certification requirements.
  • Respond to and mitigate emergency situations at the facility inside or outside of normal business hours.

What Skills You Need

  • Experience managing environmental compliance at the site level
  • An effective communicator with the ability to communicate to factory leadership and hourly workforce
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience creating and/or updating environmental plans, permits, and standard operating procedures
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working with environmental management systems and ISO 14001:2015 certification

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
