Del West, an international company, leader in the motorsport field (F1, Moto GP, NASCAR) and rapidly growing in watchmaking, is looking for its unit in Switzerland (Vaud) to start immediately, a CNC Mechanic Programmer – 100%br/br/to strengthen its CNC programming team.
Your main tasks: Design, develop and optimise machining programmes for production machines.
Define machining strategies and select the most suitable tools for parts, materials and manufacturing constraints.
Standardise our manufacturing methods.
Participate in the analysis and resolution of feasibility and machining issues.
Ensure the supply of special tools necessary for initial launches.
Define and develop programming methodologies to guarantee the quality, reliability and performance of manufacturing processes.
Work closely with production teams and industrialisation stakeholders.
Your profile: You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a polymechanic or have an equivalent technical training.
You have several years of experience in CNC programming and setting on multi-axis machines (e. g.
Bumotec S191).
Experienced in various machining techniques, you have excellent command of Gibbs CAM software.
You possess solid knowledge of cutting tools and machining strategies.
Autonomous, rigorous and methodical, you enjoy solving complex technical problems.
You like working in a team and collaborating closely with different production trades.
Experience in precision mechanics, watchmaking, motorsport, mass automotive production or aeronautics is an advantage.
Producing very high value-added parts in demanding materials is a real source of motivation for you.
Structured personality, you would like to put your interest in developing working methods to good use.
