Job description
Delicorner is transforming the workplace into a place of well-being and connection. We provide companies with responsible, healthy and delicious food solutions and as a certified B Corp, we hold ourselves to that standard. As we rapidly expand across EMEA, we are looking for a "builder" to join us as Operations Manager - Germany & Partner Markets (m/f/d).
Based in Berlin, with regular travel to our clients across Germany (Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart) and visits to our HQ in France, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, scalability and efficiency of our service.
You will own our German operations end to end::supervising our logistics setup, guaranteeing the application of our standards, and supporting the onboarding of new clients. On top of Germany, you will take ownership of two of our European partner markets, where you drive and support local partners remotely rather than running operations yourself.
Please note: To ensure full compliance with local employment law, you will be formally employed through our Employer of Record (EOR) partner, while working exclusively with the Delicorner team on a day-to-day basis.
Your main responsibilities
- Logistics management: Supervise, train and drive our logistics providers (warehousing, last mile delivery, service providers) to ensure excellence in execution.
- Partner markets: Own the operational relationship with our partners in two additional European markets: onboarding them to our standards, monitoring service quality and KPIs, and acting as their day-to-day point of contact. These markets run on a partner model: your leverage is structure, influence and follow-up, not on-the-ground execution.
- Clients: You are our presence on the ground in Germany. You work as a pair with our France-based Customer Success Manager, who owns the day-to-day relationship, while you handle what can only be done locally: onboarding new clients on site, regular visits to check service quality, and fixing issues where they happen.
- Process & performance: Ensure our operational standards are applied, monitor KPIs and improve continuously. Work with our purchasing team on local assortment relevance.
- Cross-team collaboration: Act as the operational lead for Germany and your partner markets, working closely with our French HQ teams (Partners, Sales, Customer Success and Purchasing).
- Strategic projects: Contribute to the next chapter of our German operations and help us build an operating model that can scale.
Preferred experience
- Background: 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics or supply chain, ideally within the food, retail or services industry.
- Hands-on and autonomous: You solve problems fast, you organise yourself, and you take initiative without waiting to be told.
- People-driven: You are as comfortable with warehouse teams and delivery drivers as you are with clients, and you build trust on both sides. Experience managing suppliers or teams is a plus.
- Remote & multi-market management: You can drive performance across several countries at once and hold partners accountable from a distance, without formal authority.
- Comfort with change: You are motivated by building and rebuilding rather than maintaining. Ambiguity doesn't slow you down.
- Analytical skills: You use data to decide, spot inconsistencies and propose improvements.
- German market & languages: You know the German market well enough to navigate it: its clients, its providers, its business codes. Fluent in English and German (C1 or above); you will work in German with clients, providers and delivery teams every day. French is a plus. Based in Berlin and happy to travel regularly, both across Germany and to our HQ in France.
Even if you don't tick all the boxes but feel this role is right for you, we love unconventional profiles too, so go ahead and give it a try!
What we offer
- A 4.5-day week: we don't work on Friday afternoons.
- Time off you actually take: we're serious about disconnecting, and Friday afternoons are only the start.
- Flexible working: this is a hands-on, field-based role, but when you're not with clients, providers or the team, you decide where you work from.
- Impact: A B Corp company where your work directly affects our carbon footprint and product quality.
- Wellpass membership: full access to gyms, pools and studios across Germany
- Snacks, on us: access to everything we sell. We want our team to be its first fans and biggest consumers.
- Your daily commute covered: public transport or bike, your call.
- All-access coworking pass in Berlin.
- All travel covered, across Germany and to our HQ in France.
