We're partnering with a global leader in high-performance motion control technology to recruit an Applications & Support Engineer to join their growing European team in Germany.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a background in motion control, mechatronics, electrical engineering or industrial automation who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with customer interaction.
You'll work on cutting-edge motion control solutions used in industries including semiconductor manufacturing, life sciences, laser processing, electronics and advanced automation.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Provide technical application support for advanced multi-axis motion control systems.
- Commission, troubleshoot and optimise customer applications both remotely and on-site.
- Deliver technical demonstrations, customer training and product presentations.
- Support customers throughout the application lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation of solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal R&D and engineering teams on new and existing products.
- Travel throughout the DACH region to support customers and partners.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of motors, servo drives, control systems, sensors and electronics.
- Knowledge of motion control or industrial automation systems.
- Programming experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, VB. NET or similar is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work directly with customers.
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
- Experience within semiconductor equipment, automation or OEM machinery is highly desirable.
