We are recruiting a
science-driven Key Account Manager
to join an innovative pharmaceutical organisation operating within the
infectious disease
space. The company is guided by a strong
patient-first philosophy , with a clear focus on improving outcomes through responsible use of anti-infective therapies and meaningful collaboration with healthcare professionals. This role is less about transactional selling and more about
building clinical awareness, supporting evidence-based decision-making, and educating stakeholders on appropriate patient selection and optimal use
within hospital settings across Austria. The Role
You will engage key hospital stakeholders to: Develop and execute strategic account plans Support formulary inclusion and guideline integration Build disease and product awareness grounded in clinical evidence Educate on appropriate use aligned with stewardship principles Map stakeholder networks and identify collaboration opportunities Work cross-functionally with Medical (MSL) and Marketing colleagues Represent the organisation at relevant scientific congresses Success in this role requires the ability to navigate complex hospital environments while maintaining a compliant, patient-centric approach. Your Profile
Master’s or PhD in Pharmacy, Biology, or Medicine Experience within the hospital sector (Austria/DACH preferred) Strong understanding of infectious diseases and hospital decision pathways Experience in stakeholder engagement and formulary processes Excellent consultative communication and analytical skills Energetic, self-motivated, and collaborative mindset This is an opportunity to contribute to a company that prioritises
