About Delvo
Delvo is the agentic intelligence layer for strategic procurement — a system that thinks, acts, and learns alongside the teams managing $50 trillion in global spend. We help enterprise customers across energy, automotive, and chemicals negotiate better, prepare 10x faster, and turn reactive cost control into proactive value creation.
We're a small founding team, shipping daily, working directly with customers and moving fast.
Why This Role Compounds
Sales is the one skill that compounds across every career path. Whether you become a founder, a closer, or a senior commercial leader, the people who got there learned the craft early. Delvo is where you learn it right.
You will be one of the first hires in our GTM team. This means you will define how Delvo finds, qualifies, and engages procurement organizations across our key verticals. We are looking for someone who wants a real challenge in a fast-moving environment and, in return, can become an Account Executive at Delvo within the next 8-12 months.
How the Role Sits in the Team
As Delvo scales, our GTM approach is built around Deployment Strategists, Account Executives, BDRs, and a GTM Engineer. The BDR sits at the front, working hand-in-hand with the GTM Engineer and AE to bring proof points from existing enterprise customers to new ones. The story flywheel starts with you.
What You'll Do
Build the outbound engine. Design the sequences, test the channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, events), and figure out what works with procurement and enterprise buyers. You help write the playbook from scratch.
Work closely with our Deployment Strategists. You become the storyteller of our deepest enterprise engagements. No mass blasts: you will know more about a customer's procurement process than most of their own category managers before the first meeting.
Own customer outreach. Speak with procurement leaders and category managers across our target verticals, and be a key part of the initial sales process alongside founders and Account Executives.
Become AI-native in your craft. Proactively find where AI accelerates outbound work, experiment with new approaches, and share what works with the rest of the team.
Feed learnings back into product and marketing. What objection comes up in most cold calls? Which ICP segment responds best to which message? You are the ground truth on what the market says.
What We're Looking For
Hunger, structure, and the kind of resilience that doesn't wilt after a string of no-replies. Problem-solving, creativity, and drive matter more than the number of years on your CV.
Motivated to build something from the ground up. You take ownership of work others would delegate and finish what you start.
Fluent in German and English.
Ideally, concrete evidence of hitting outbound targets in a prior role. If you don't have that, a serious side hustle, sales-heavy student initiative, or another track record of convincing people to do hard things works too.
AI-native outbound: you've built your own research and personalization stack, and know how to scale personalization without it becoming spam.
Genuine curiosity about procurement and the industries we serve: energy, automotive, and chemicals. You don't need to know it all on day one, but you'll know it by week three.
What You'll Get
Real ownership. You'll be one of the first BDRs and contribute to the playbook from day one.
Close collaboration with our founders, iterating the outbound motion directly with them.
Validated traction: enterprise customers already live, within a clearly defined ICP. You are not hunting in the dark.
Clear AE pathway. Strong BDRs move into an AE seat within 12-18 months.
An AI-native sales stack, plus whatever else helps you close.
What Success Looks Like After a Few Months
You have co-built the first version of the outbound playbook: named sequences per segment, tested openers, working objection handlers.
You have multi-threaded into multiple named accounts on your own, with key stakeholders engaged.
You are driving pipeline growth beyond current inbound.
The AE trusts your handoffs without re-qualifying.
Language Requirements
German and English fluency is required.
