Mechatronics & Sensing Systems Engineer (m/f/d) – Marketing

As an automotive supplier, DENSO is leading in developing and providing components and systems for heating, air conditioning, motor cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, automotive electrics and electronics and instrumentation.

We are seeking a talented Mechatronics & Sensing Systems Engineer to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your technical knowledge and passion for technology to analyze the market and customer needs to develop targets as well as sales expansion strategies together with the development team in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to promote our mechatronics and sensing systems products to our customers across Europe
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions‘ capabilities and benefits
• Collaborate with the engineering team to customize solutions that meet specific client requirements
• Analyze customer needs and provide expert advice on integrating our products into their existing systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in mechatronics and sensing systems
• Travel within Europe to visit customers and attend industry events
• Contribute to the development of new product ideas based on market demand and customer feedback

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in mechatronics or sensing systems sales, preferably in industrial automation applications
• Strong technical knowledge of mechatronics systems, sensor technologies, and industrial automation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Fluency in English; additional European languages and/or Japanese language are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges effectively
• Valid driver’s license
