Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to help define and deploy planning processes, principles, and best practices for the region. Guiding business objectives, insight generation, cultural narrative, media briefs, creative media solutions, strategic POVs and go-to market activations. Also, in charge of delivering thought leadership and award worthy ideas to clients. The Regional Hub Strategy lead is a new role we have identified that will be embedded into our regional hub teams. This role will enable us to inject more higher level, strategic thinking into the business, particularly as it relates to the field work. Additionally, one of the primary responsibilities of this role is to act as a connection point, not only with global media but also across regional hubs and markets. This role needs to be plugged in to the work that is happening around the world so we can leverage that work to the fullest extent.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point of connection into global, sharing knowledge across different campaigns
- Anticipate client needs, providing strategic guidance and deep dives into new areas ahead of asks
- Be knowledgeable in both B2B and B2C strategic development
- Drive greater focus, alignment, and consistency in the work
- Bring an innovative mindset, looking for ways to inject new thinking, ideas, etc. wherever possible
- Identify and evaluate new partners and vendors
- Define DFP and JTBD with market and audience segmentation supported by local Carat markets
- Define/input into the 'Go-to-Market' Strategy
- Define roles for media mix and user journey / ecosystem
- Establish best practice strategic processes, success metrics and KPIs
- Input into QBRs
- Collaborate with client team and agency partners to understand marketing objectives and build them into success metrics, KPIs and reports

- Experience of working on large accounts and integrated international marketing campaigns, either as part of a local team working with a regional/global hub or vice versa
- Managing teams in a virtual / matrix organisation
