Open call: MIMOL Department (University of Geneva, Switzerland - Faculty of Medicine) is hosting and supporting a Junior Group Leader’s application for a Starting Grant The Department of Microbiology and Molecular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva, invites applications from outstanding junior researchers seeking institutional support for an ERC or SNSF Starting Grant in medically relevant host–pathogen interactions, bacteriology, virology, parasitology or mycology. The successful candidate will be hosted as an independent group leader to establish an internationally competitive research program. The Department offers dedicated laboratory and office space, BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratories, BSL-2 animal facilities, state-of-the-art technology platforms, and opportunities for translational research through its proximity to Switzerland's largest hospital. The University of Geneva provides administrative and research support throughout the grant, including funding for one PhD position. The successful candidate will be invited to join the Life Sciences PhD School, with strong institutional support for PhD recruitment.
