Our design team in Germany combines technology and experience design to create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty are digital experiences and communication that change perceptions and shape new behaviors to make a difference in the market. Our clients include nationally and internationally recognized brands such as Jägermeister, Lufthansa, Beiersdorf and many others.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Senior UI Designer with a focus on Design Systems, you bring structure and consistency to life through beautifully crafted components, patterns, and guidelines. You design visual building blocks that enable scalable, brand-consistent and high-quality product experiences, with a strong eye for detail, motion, and clarity.

You care deeply about great design: joyful, elegant and accessible interfaces that people love to use. For you, a design system is not just a toolkit: It’s a foundation for creating experiences that feel thoughtful, polished, and alive.

You collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, brand teams, and product owners to ensure visual cohesion, implementation quality, and a shared design vision. You thrive on complex challenges and love turning them into simple, beautiful, and tangible outcomes – all while working in a dynamic environment with the most talented (and fun) people the industry has to offer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and maintain scalable, high-quality UI components and patterns within a cross-platform Design System
• Translate strategy, UX and brand into visually compelling interfaces with attention to detail, motion, and clarity
• Bring fresh ideas and cross-industry inspiration to elevate visual design and system thinking
• Make smart, bold decisions on when to use, adapt or extend the design system
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers and product teams to ensure consistency and quality in implementation
• Present your work with clarity and confidence and handle feedback constructively
• Ensure pixel-perfect delivery, with detailed specs, prototypes and a strong eye for craft
• Contribute to onboarding, documentation and visual standards that help teams apply the system with confidence
• Continuously evolve the system based on product and stakeholder needs, feedback, accessibility standards and design trends

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience as visual designer at an agency or renown brand, with a strong track record in building and scaling design systems;
• Experience with designing websites, apps and digital products;
• A strong portfolio (website or PDF) demonstrating your experience and passion;
• Deep expertise in Figma (design libraries, auto layout, tokens, prototyping) and smooth handoff to development;
• Experience in motion design (Jitter) and AI tools is a big plus;
• Assertiveness; you’re and independent thinker that is able to go beyond backlogs items and client briefs by challenging the status quo and provide new ideas and perspectives.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams on complex digital products;
• Working proficiency in English (German is a plus)
