Industrial Painter (All Genders) in Hamburg

• Preparation of steel and aluminum components for painting corrosion protection
• Application of corrosion preventive temporary protection compounds
• Wet painting of components on aircraft
• Application of structural paints, Scratches rework ,chromate conversion coating, paint rework, CPC
• Covering according to drawings and specifications
• General cleaning work on aircraft components
• Joints, puttying and sealing
• Preparing surfaces—cleaning, degreasing, sanding, and masking workpieces to ensure optimal adhesion of coatings
• Applying various coating processes—carrying out painting work, applying adhesives, preservative waxes, and sealants
• Synchronous coating process – use of special techniques for uniform coating of surfaces
• Attaching technical signage and decorations – applying lines, auxiliary foils, and other markings in accordance with technical specifications
• Quality control – monitoring and testing coated surfaces for compliance with quality standards
• Maintenance and care of equipment – to ensure smooth operation
• Documentation of work processes – recording and logging the work performed and materials used
• Compliance with safety and environmental regulations – to protect health and the environment during the coating process

• Completed vocational training as an industrial painter or body painter or many years of experience in the field of industrial painting
• Completed vocational training as a vehicle painter, electroplater, surface coater or process mechanic for coating technology
• At least 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing or production, ideally as a painter
• Experience in wet painting
• Physical resilience
• Willingness to work 3-shift system as well as weekends and overtime
• Willingness to work under a mask
• Independent, reliable and quality-conscious way of working
• Required pre-qualifications to aviation standards desirable, including:
  

- Package 3.1: Sealing of Aircraft Structures; Dent, Scratch, Rivet Pull-in; Quality Fundamentals for Production; FOD Initial Training
- Package 4: Drawing System (from April 2024 additionally Corrosion Fundamentals)
- Package 8.2: Surface Protection Fundamentals
- Package 9: Basic Inspection Principles

• Good knowledge of German (at least B2), knowledge of English an advantage
• Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa) mandatory
