Business Controller (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team in the Frankfurt am Main/Frankfurt area, we are looking for a committed “ Business Controller (m/f/d)” for our Finance team in Germany on a permanent basis.

This individual monitors the financial performance of the department and works closely with the Director Finance to provide financial advice to internal departments. He/she also prepares regular financial reports to present the economic situation of the organization.

What You'll Do

• Own financial planning & reporting – Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements for multiple entities.
• Deliver insights that drive decisions – Analyze key financials (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), and provide financial recommendations.
• Optimize performance – Conduct variance analysis, assess customer profitability, and develop corrective action plans.
• Enhance systems & processes – Improve financial management systems and introduce smarter reporting tools, driven by automation and digitalization.
• Be a trusted partner – Partner closely with Supply Chain & Procurement teams to analyze cost structures, supplier contracts, and procurement efficiency.
• Lead impactful projects – Manage and collaborate on controlling projects across national and international locations.

What You Bring

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent
• Proven experience in finance/controlling, Dutch GAAP and IFRS (must-have)
• Strong analytical mindset with a results-driven approach Proficiency in financial planning tools & IT systems (SAP experience is a plus )
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize & drive results
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills
• Willingness to work in an international environment
• Fluent in German & English (required)
