ERP Finance Systems Specialist (m/w/d)

Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for an ERP Finance Systems Specialist (m/w/d) in Hanau, Germany.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and improvement of the financial system and other integrated systems.
• Receiving, understanding, and processing requirements from different departments, especially from IT.
• Responsible for problem-solving and testing of the financial system.
• Function as support level 1 for all users of the financial system.
• Error handling process (understanding of error messages and what it may mean and impact).
• Documentation and knowledge sharing of solutions and best practices.
• Close collaboration with the accounting team in a global environment.

Skills, knowledge, and expertise:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or (business) computer science.
• Some finance processes and accounting processes experience in a multi-national environment.
• Experience in project management and a good process understanding.
• Relevant experience in supporting financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
• Reading comprehension of codes like SQL statements, VBA macros.
• Understanding of complex software architecture (the interaction of various software tools, specifically financial systems).
• Experience in the logistics industry is a plus.
• Very good communication skills in English and German are required.
