Every day theindustry and deugro face the challenges of the logistics industry and ouremployees use their expertise to ensure large cargo is transported safely,effectively, and efficiently, through innovative and creative logisticalsolutions.Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Senior Project Manager – Import (m/f/d) in Bremen, Germany.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependent management and coordination of international project shipments with a focus on importsProject management throughout the entire project lifecycle: from implementation to controlling and post-project review (including lessons learned)Close collaboration with the Operations team to ensure smooth execution of all contractual requirementsOrder processing from customer order placement to project completion, including invoicingParticipation in strategic tenders in coordination with department management, regional tender management, and other internal stakeholdersConducting project negotiations and clarification meetings with customers and partnersFinancial controlling of individual projectsMaintaining and expanding existing customer relationships as well as actively contributing to new business generationPreparing and following up on quotations in collaboration with Global Key Account Management and the Sales Team GermanySupporting the implementation and further development of internal processes, IT infrastructure (e.g., CargoWise, PTL), and SOPsEnsuring quality in project execution and supporting the implementation of the group’s strategic objectivesCollaboration with other deugro branches and specialist departments worldwideSkills, knowledge and expertiseSuccessfully completed vocational training or degree in the field of freight forwardingSeveral years of professional experience in project forwarding, ideally with a focus on imports – export experience is also welcome; any missing import knowledge can be supplemented through internal trainingExperience with general cargo and heavy-lift transports as well as sea freight charterKnowledge of contract and project managementStrong customer orientation and excellent communication skillsTeam player with a hands-on mentalityExcellent German and English skills, both written and spokenWillingness to undertake occasional national and international business tripsWhat makes us the ideal choice?A family-owned company established in 1924, has evolved into a leading globalspecialist in project freight forwarding.
